In partnership with Sydney University, Marsh & McLennan Companies is offering a full MBA scholarship entitled ‘Marsh and McLennan Women in Leadership MBA Scholarship’. The aim of this scholarship is to provide funding for an advanced degree to an exceptional female who would not otherwise have had the means to do so. This scholarship will recognise an Australian female with demonstrated leadership capabilities, exceptional Academic results and proven professional experience. Further, it will provide an opportunity for a high performing female leader to gain exposure to a global, highly matrixed professional services firm via offering the option of vacation work during each semester break that the scholarship is running.

Level of Studies : Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) Programme
Scholarship Coverage : The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the Master of Business Administration. The scholarship is tenable for a maximum four years of part-time study, where the recipient fulfils requirements for the award of the degree. The Recipient of the award must complete a minimum 18 credit points annually.
Scholarship Eligibility :
This scholarship is open to all women who meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the degree, Master of Business Administration. Applicants need not have applied for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) prior to applying for the scholarship. However, only those applicants deemed eligible for entry to the MBA via the prevailing admissions processes are eligible to be awarded the scholarship.
Applicants with Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship are eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration.
Female applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the degree, Master of Business Administration, can apply for the Marsh and McLennan Women in Leadership MBA Scholarship. Applicants need not have applied for the Master of Business Administration prior to applying for the scholarship. An applicant for admission to candidature for the degree should:
- have completed a bachelor’s degree, graduate diploma or other AQF Level 7 qualification with a minimum credit (65%) average, or equivalent at an institution approved by the School and at a standard acceptable to the School; and
- have met the work experience requirements of the Business School (at least 3 years work experience, and experience in a managerial position); and
- a selection interview establishing the candidates suitability for the degree
In exceptional circumstances, the School may admit applicants without these qualifications if, in the opinion of the School, they have qualifications and evidence of experience and achievement sufficient to successfully undertake the award.
